About Me

My name is Madison, and I’m currently a 22-year-old American graduate student.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education in May 2017, and I am attending graduate school for a Master’s in Applied Linguistics–Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).  After my graduation in May 2019, I plan to move to South Korea and teach English.

The languages that I’ve dabbled in include Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean, in order from least fluent to most fluent.  (See My Language Timeline for more details.)

  1. Wow I just noticed similarities between you and me. I learned Japanese while I was attending college since I started I started learning Japanese in the last year of high school on my own. I must say I got very far in this language pursuit because I just had so much time during college until the later years. I hope you learn as much as korean or whatevre language by the time you graduate
